Tucked along the Prairie River on more than five acres, this property offers room to unwind and make it your own. Enjoy it as a private getaway, explore its rental potential, or do a little of both. With a small white home and a separate log cabin, there’s plenty here for buyers drawn to a quiet riverside setting. The small white home has a mini-split for heating and cooling, a gas fireplace, and high-speed internet available at the property. The seller used it as a three-season home and winterized it each year. The home is currently winterized, and power to the bathroom may be off. The crawl space is ready for a heater, but the seller did not install one. For four-season use, a heater would need to be connected in the crawl space to keep the water heater warm. The seller previously rented the property to a traveling nurse for multiple months at $1,800 per month. The seller estimates that high-season rent could be around $2,400–$2,600 per month; that is a projection, not documented rental income. The log cabin adds to the property's appeal, but it is not connected to septic, water, or power. Buyers may enter using the side porch. Do not walk on the rear deck; it is unsafe. Use of the loft would require a variance from the city. The seller’s ladder for loft access is stored in the garage on the property. Come walk the property, take in the Prairie River setting, and see what you could make of this five-acre getaway.
