Set along a quiet country road just minutes from Gull Lake, this extraordinary log-style retreat offers rare privacy, natural beauty, and everyday convenience. Surrounded by wetlands, private hunting land, and nature preserve, the setting is effectively protected from future development--creating peaceful views of trees, trails, and abundant wildlife. Deer, sandhill cranes, wild turkey, owls, and songbirds are frequent visitors. Inside, warm wood finishes, skylights, custom Kellogg Forest timber details, newer mechanicals, and multiple heat sources--including a Grizzly woodstove and 2023 outdoor wood boiler--blend rustic character with practical comfort. Nearly three wooded acres, an insulated pole barn, chicken coop, perennial gardens, screened porch, hot tub, firepit patio, green house area, rainwater collection system, and attached garage make this a true nature retreat where every day feels like a getaway.
