Checkerberry Ridge, Thornton, NH 03285

Beautiful acre in Waterville Estates, with a lovely creek winding down through the property and potential mountain views in wintertime after the leaves fall. There is a drainage culvert already in place at the road frontage, and this would make an obvious spot for a driveway. However the maintained portion of the road stops about 100 feet short of the culvert and would need to be improved. This opportunity is therefore priced accordingly. The ground itself hasn't been perc tested but appears high and dry, with a medium density of hardwoods dotting the hillside. This property is a member of Waterville Estates, with full access to the Community Center, grille pub, Campton Mountain Ski Area, and other amenities. Association dues are also deeply discounted ($120 per year) until a home is built. The location is in the very heart of ski country: Just 19 minutes to Waterville Valley, 25 minutes to Loon, not to mention the hundreds of hikes and outdoor recreational opportunities in the White Mountains.
