Mid-century modern design, fully realized. Tucked on a quiet private road just behind Carnegie Mellon University, this architect designed estate home has been completely reimagined with finishes inspired by mid-century modern design. It’s a rare blend of architectural pedigree and timeless style. Arrive through the two car garage into a soaring two story glass atrium, which flows into the home’s centerpiece: a 30 foot heated indoor pool, ready for laps in January as easily as July. A dedicated gym area sits nearby, so your whole wellness routine stays under one roof. Floor to ceiling windows bring the outdoors in throughout, while multiple decks and outdoor spaces extend the living area into the surrounding greenery. With 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, and an elevator serving all four floors, the home works as well for everyday living as it does for hosting. Beneath the design is serious construction: steel framing, commercial grade foundations, and a concrete floor structure with no interior load bearing walls, so the open, flexible layout can adapt to how you live. Private and set in one of the city’s most distinctive enclaves, it’s minutes from Oakland, Squirrel Hill, and Shadyside. A true Pittsburgh original.
