The bones are brick. The light is stained glass. The rest is up to you. This house has a butler's pantry. That says a lot about how it was built. Start on the inviting front porch, then step inside to hardwood floors throughout and rich natural woodwork in every room. Stained glass windows color the light across generous living spaces, and the butler's pantry recalls a time when homes were built for gathering. Above it all, a walk-up attic offers plenty of storage today and room for big ideas tomorrow. Built of solid brick and stucco, this Craftsman-style colonial in Schenectady's historic district has the craftsmanship you can't add later. What it needs now is updating, and someone who sees what's worth keeping. Stained glass never looks the same in photos. Come see it in person!
